Baby Glimpse AI (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Baby Glimpse application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our service.

2. What Face Data Does the App Collect?

The app collects facial images and extracts facial feature data (landmarks) from photos uploaded by the user specifically for the purpose of generating a future baby image.

  • Facial Images: Photos you upload via your camera or photo library containing faces of the prospective parents.
  • Facial Feature Data: Extracted landmarks and facial characteristics used to analyze and blend facial features for the baby prediction.
  • Usage Data: Anonymous metrics about app usage to improve performance and fix bugs (via Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics).

3. How We Use Face Data

The collected face data is used exclusively to process your images through our AI model to generate a prediction of a future baby's face. This is the core utility of the application.

  • Images you upload are processed by our AI algorithms to analyze facial features and landmarks.
  • These features are blended to create a visualized result of a potential future baby.
  • We do not use this data for any other purpose such as tracking, identification, or advertising.
  • Your face data is never used for marketing, user profiling, or sold to third parties.

4. How Long Will Face Data Be Retained?

Face data is retained only for the duration of the image generation process (typically a few seconds to minutes).

  • Temporary Processing Only: Parent photos are processed in memory or temporary storage during the generation task.
  • Immediate Deletion: Once the result is returned to the user, the face data and original images are immediately and permanently deleted from our servers.
  • No Long-Term Storage: We do not store face data long-term. The generated baby image is only stored on the user's device for their future reference.
  • No Data Library: We do not maintain a library of user faces or any facial data after the generation is complete.

5. Will Face Data Be Shared with Third Parties? Where Is It Stored?

The face data is transferred securely to our cloud processing providers (e.g., AWS/Google Cloud) solely for the purpose of image generation.

  • Cloud Processing: Face data is transferred to secure cloud computing providers (such as AWS or Google Cloud) exclusively for AI processing and image generation.
  • Not Shared for Marketing: It is not shared with third parties for their own marketing or usage purposes.
  • Processing Only: Cloud providers process the data on our behalf under strict privacy agreements and do not have the right to use your face data for their own purposes.
  • Temporary Storage: Face data is processed in memory or temporary storage during the generation task and is not stored long-term on cloud servers.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your face data to outside parties for any purpose other than the immediate image generation.

6. Your Rights

Since we do not store your personal data or photos after the immediate generation process, there is no data to request for deletion. Usage analytics can be opted out of via the app settings.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
